Today some guy from my ward (of which I do not attend) walked by my house while I was getting ready to mow the lawn. He waved at me and said:
“How you feeling Trevor?” [I know you haven't been sick, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. I'm really trying to ask you why I haven't seen you and church in a while]
“Fine.” [Well brother, you haven't seen me at church for a while, 'cause I stopped going. Duh.]
“Oh, I just haven’t see you in a while.” [I'm to much of a wuss to come out and just say it, son, some I'm just going to awkwardly ask you like this]
Little exchanges happen like this every so often, and I really hate them.
You’re an adult man, if your wondering why I haven’t been for a while, why can’t you ask me?
Anyway, this is my cousin who came in the other day for some pictures. My favorite picture is the first one and I’m pretty stoked that it turned out so well, this is the first time that I’ve take pictures of kids, and I think it turned out well.

MySpace has a feature called The Top 8. When you have a list of contacts, or friends then you have the choice of displaying your top friends on your main page. You can chose to display 4, 8, 12 or 16. It’s a convenient way show who your best buds are as well as be able to see what’s going down on their pages.
Some people change their top 8 all the time. They change it almost daily, so it effectively becomes a sort of friend meter. It’s an odd thing being able to visually and publicly see how you rate. Last week I broke into Trace’s top 8 for the first time in over a year. The next day I saw myself go down (probably because I almost caused a car crash).
I’ve been thinking about comic books a lot lately. I’ve never been able to get through one, but I like the art style nonetheless.
It’s charcol pencil and sharpie on butcher paper, which makes it super slick,
It measures about 12 x 16 in. and I’m pretty stoked on it.

I didn’t want to join the army until I saw that ad with the solder blowing up the car. “Shit!” I said to myself, “I didn’t know you got to blow stuff up in the army!”

I drew this tree a while ago, can you see the face?
Update 1.6.08 This is now listed on my etsy page.
I’ve changed to a new design that I think I’m finally down with.

These three pictures are from an old point and shoot that I bought at D.I. last summer. It had a great wide angle lens on it, and until reciently with was the only wide angle lens that I had. This was the only roll of film I put in the camera before it broke (and while taking it apart, I broke it more).
All stuff of Trace and I skating, my favorite one is the first. Right before I took the shoot he looked to his left and said: “MySpace.”
I took some pictures of Alex S. today, maybe sometime next week I’ll post ‘em. Tomorrow I’m taking photos of my cousin, it’s the first time that I’ve tried to take pictures of children before, so Hopefully it will turn out well. I dunno, though. I expect it to be a very different experence then I’m used to.
I usually take about 20 minutes taking photos and that probably won’t do for a 5 year old child. I dunno.
I guess I don’t have anything more to say on the subject.
I’m going to be contacting a photographer in the area about a ad she posted about an assistant. From what I saw I’m a pretty good candidate for the job, but we’ll see.
I scanned my best neg of Trace today, here it is.

And here’s another picture from Satan’s Land.

One more thing, don’t say the word ”hella”.
Ever.
youyesyoudotnet.livejournal.com is a fantastic site, ya’ll should give it a look.
I scanned these in yesterday, the pictures lack some sharpness, but I think that’s because of the scanner.

I made a goal to shoot a roll of film every week. It’s not much and during the summer I’d like to to be about 2-3 rolls a week but on limited funds and time this will have to do (for now).
I went to Salt Lake to take a short photography class, I also brought some pictures from the shoot I had with Trace.
This was the teachers favorite.
